Here at the DPF Delete Shop we have gotten pretty carried away with the 6.7L Cummins. Your basic add ons are fine for most people, but we have customers that want to go a step further.... sometimes a couple steps!

For years we have played around with the 5.9L Cummins and had plenty of time to figure out what combinations work for what amount of power.

The 6.7L Cummins has presented us with a new chalenge as different displacement causes different results from air and fuel upgrades.

Running a Silver 66 turbo from Industrial Injections was on the big side of turbos for the 5.9L Cummins, but running the same size turbo on a 6.7 turned out to be on the small side. We can run the 66mm turbo on a 6.7 with just an intake tuner and exhaust and the turbo spools faster than stock. After throwing more fuel at the same truck via a set of 125 horse horse power injector nozzles and an 85% over CP3 we found that the 6.7 would only make 670 horse power, where the same turbo with a little different fuel setup made 788 on a 5.9L this is how different engines with more or less displacement will react differently with the same parts.

More displacement means we are moving more air through the exhaust housing of the turbo thus spooling the turbo way faster than an engine with less displacement would.

This is when we started talking to Brady the owner of Industrial Injections about making us a larger turbo that would offer more air on the 6.7L Cummins. He saw first hand what we were dealing with and the Silver 71 was born.

71mm turbos have been available in a T4 S400 housing for years. But there has not been anything of this size available in the T3 S300 framed turbo. Brady went above and beyond for us on this turbo charger and has solved a big issue for us.

We can now offer a customer the fuel and air combos to make almost 800 horse power with a single turbo on the 6.7L Cummins without having to fork out the cash for compound turbos.

This turbo works great with minor upgrades such as 125 horse injectors, 85% over CP3, headstuds and agressive turbo tuning to allow us to get rid of the VGT turbo without any codes.

It works even better with 200 horse injectors, dual CP3's and headstuds!
